Final Wrap Up before Friday

Lite Riders - NB

Note that the Lite will start at the same time as the Tour - 7.00. You will have your own chute for check in.

On Sunday evening after the Daily Awards ceremony (approx 6:30), you are invited to Magnolia, Casterbridge for snacks so that we can present you with your well earned medals. This forms part of your race entry fee. We'll also do the lucky draw for the Bergamont Dolce Ltd (worth R19600) donated by Velo Life. There are also lucky draw prizes from MTN. Finishing the Lite is no mean feat and we should celebrate your achievements.

Please confirm at Registration whether you'll be attending.

Tour Dinner

All Tour riders are invited to dinner at Magnolia, Casterbridge on Monday after the daily awards ceremony (about 6.30). The dinner is included in your race entry fee. Please also confirm your attendance when you register and extra tickets can be bought at the same time.

Route Information

Sections of the road remain rough and reminiscent of the Paris Roubaix cobbles. Kiepersol is maintained by the local farmers but it is still dangerous if you do not watch for holes and sand. Brondal is also pitted in places and will be tricky with big bunches on Stage Two. We'll convey more information at Race Briefing. Note Stage Two has been extended by 5km and a fair amount of climbing so be advised to stop at the MTN water point to fill up.

The Time Trial has also been modified to avoid the treacherous coal truck route. It is shorter but no less difficult. As you all know, its the last day and you should all fly through this little tester. Note that the start times for the TT will be from 8:00am to avoid early morning traffic.

Registration is from 12:00 on Friday 26th April down at the Casterbridge Music Development Academy (old Barnyard). It will run until 17:45 then stop until Race Briefing is over. Late registration begins at 19:00 but please inform the race office is you need this service ahead of time. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

You must also bring your licenses to Registration unless you have taken a temporary licence. You do not need any timing chips.
