Testing One, Two Three

Its the training camp this weekend up in White River and we are riding the three long stages. We're travelling up from Joburg today and meeting part of Team Hadrians Wall for pizzas before toddling off to our very comfortable accommodation. Tomorrow (Friday) is the 84km leg (stage two) which should bring us home to Casterbridge for a late breakfast and a long afternoon to prepare the legs for the next two hectic rides. The toss up will be lazing at the pool or popping into the Game Reserve for a quick spotting of local fauna and flora or reading my book. Hmmmm.

Saturday will see us do the first stage via Kiepersol. Hopefully no rain on this day. We'll give the potholes a good look as well. Maybe a cappucino and pancake in Sabie on the way a la the MTN Bicycling guys last year? Or we could do it on Sunday, or both days. That's the best thing about a training camp - no pressure.

We'll keep you posted next week on our views of the roads and whether the hills are bigger than last year.
Oh..and by the way. Don't wake up on April Fool's Day and realise you've missed the entry deadline......
